What is DocksFest?

DocksFest is a 5,000 capacity music festival that takes place in Cleethorpes on Saturday 5th July 2025. This event is brought to you in association with Docks Beers and Docks Academy – Grimsby’s craft beer brewery and live music venue.

No. There are no camping tickets, but you may find limited camping and touring pitches at Haven Cleethorpes Beach or Cleethorpes Showground Camping.

The Meridian Showground does not have its own car park, but there are public pay and display car parks within 10 minutes’ walking distance.

DocksFest will release further details on car parking facilities nearer the event.

There is a Taxi drop off/pick up point right outside the showground. We recommend Links Taxi’s 01472 353535 or Cleethorpes Cars 01472 600600. There are bus stations directly outside Meridian Showground, we shall post further details nearer the time.

The minimum age is 14. Anyone aged 14-17 must be accompanied by an adult. This means no children under 14 and this includes babies, infants and toddlers.

No, once you leave the festival you will not be re-admitted.

No. The event is cashless. Please make sure to bring a contactless (or card) payment method.

ID will be checked to confirm your age for entry and for drinking purposes. We accept:

  • Photo identification cards bearing the PASS hologram
  • Photographic driving licenses
  • Passports

Parents and guardians of attendees under 18 are advised to bring I.D.; a photo of their child’s birth certificate or passport on a phone is acceptable. Anyone believed to be under 14 will not be permitted to enter the event site. 

No, sorry, you may not bring food or drink with you. Food and drinks are available to purchase in the festival arena from a variety of onsite bars and food vendors. Vegan, Vegetarian and Gluten Free products will be available and more detailed information will be provided nearer the time. If you have any further dietary or allergens requirements, contact us at info@docksfest.com. 

No. Festival goers will not be allowed to bring alcohol into the festival. We have well stocked bars selling a range of alcoholic drinks and soft drinks. We will enforce a Challenge 25 policy at the bars to ensure the sale of alcohol is strictly prohibited to under 18s, so please do not be offended if we ask for proof of age!

Water points are available at the festival bars for free drinking water. Cups will be available free at water points. Please note, refillable and empty water bottles will not be allowed in to the festival site. Bottled water will be available to purchase at the bars and some food stalls.

You may bring a bag no bigger than a piece of A4 paper. Please note, they will be searched on entry.

  • No drugs
    We have a ZERO tolerance policy on drug consumption. We work with the local authorities to prevent illegal substances getting onto the festival site. Any festival-goer caught with any illegal substances will NOT be allowed into the festival and may be passed to the authorities. Any festival-goer caught with any illegal substances on site will be ejected from the festival and may be passed to the authorities.
  • No alcohol
  • No food or drink
  • No refillable water bottles
  • No flares, smoke bombs or fireworks, or any other form of pyro
  • No knives, firearms or weapons
  • No aerosols or cans
  • No glass of any sort inc. perfumes/aftershaves
  • No flags, selfie sticks or poles of any sort
  • No umbrellas
  • No air horns, megaphones, or laser pens
  • No bikes, skateboards or scooters
  • No drones, paper lanterns or inflatables
  • No inflatable chairs
  • No balloons / helium balloons
  • No DSLR or large recording equipment (unless you have a press pass). Phone cameras and small digital cameras are permitted.

Security checks will be conducted before ticket scanning, including bag searches. Attendees may be asked to undergo a hand-held metal detector scan or a pat-down.

All tickets purchased will be E-tickets, which are sent to your email address connected to the ticket purchase. On arrival, you just need to show the e-ticket you were emailed by See Tickets to box office. You can print the tickets but we advise downloading, screenshotting or adding your tickets to your phone wallet. Either way we will scan them on arrival.

You should have received tickets directly to your email address to print at home. If you cannot find your ticket confirmation email, please first check your inbox and spam for emails from donotreply@seetickets.com. you can request a copy of the confirmation email along with a copy of your PDF ticket attached to be resent to your email address. You will need your reference number and then postcode, phone number or email address. https://www.seetickets.com/customerservice. On this link, you can download your tickets when you track your order. Here you can also update your email address if required. To have your confirmation email and PDF ticket resent simply choose the Resend confirmation email box. If you’re still unable to obtain your tickets, contact info@docksfest.com.

DocksFest suggest forwarding the email or a screen shot with the tickets to your party. The tickets are digital and are scanned so you will not need to arrive together or leave the festival to give them hard copies.

Yes, unless the festival sells out in advance, in which case tickets will not be available on the day so we advise to
purchase early to avoid disappointment.

E-tickets purchased online can be shown either on your phone or a print out. Or if you have purchased a physical ticket please bring it with you.

We operate our refund policy via See Tickets. Tickets cannot be transferred, exchanged, or refunded once purchased other than for the reasons set out in See Tickets terms and conditions. https://www.seetickets.com/content/terms-and-conditions. 

DocksFest do not have a buy back ticket scheme.

Accessible Guest Information

Meridian Showground is located on Kings Road, Cleethorpes, North East Lincolnshire, DN35 0AR. The site is flat and is a combination of hard and soft ground. Weather conditions will affect the overall state of the ground. If you are a wheelchair user or have mobility issues, please be aware that the main terrain at the festival is grass, with some temporary trackway in certain areas. In the event of mud, efforts will be made to keep the whole site as accessible as possible.

There are numerous accessible toilets on the festival site.

We have limited number of Blue Badge Holders Car Park spaces at Meridian Road Car Park, Meridian Road. Contact info@docksfest.com to apply for a Disabled Car Parking Pass. These will be provided on a first come, first serve basis.

There will be one viewing platform onsite, a raised platform solely for festival-goers that need to be seated, plus one accompanying person. You will need to apply for a Viewing Platform pass, which can be requested at info@docksfest.com. Chairs are provided. Access Stewards will be on-hand to monitor the area and support. The Viewing Platform has its own dedicated wheelchair accessibility toilet and in close proximity to further toilets and an accessible bar. Please note, the Viewing Platform is not located near the VIP Area, however, we can inform staff within the VIP area of your requirements.

We only allow readmission for those with personal needs, medical requirements, family obligations and emergencies. Any reasons outside the above will not be accepted. Contact info@docksfest.com to apply for a readmission pass.

DocksFest is predominantly a standing only open-air event. There will, however, be some seating provided by the Festival organisers dotted around the site. You may bring your own camping chair or stool. There will be areas for their use and they will only be allowed in these zones. If asked by a member of security to move please follow their instructions. Chairs and stools will not under any circumstances be permitted in the busy area in front of the stage. All chairs and stools will be subject to a search at security points before entering DocksFest. Please note, inflatable chairs are not allowed.

Yes, we confirm you can bring your own food and drink for personnel reasons. We advise you contact info@docksfest.com in advance to apply for access to the Access Lane. This will enable us to inform our security personnel in advance. On arrival, head straight to the Access Lane to discuss your requirements with our security personnel.
