What is DocksFest?
DocksFest is a 5,000 capacity music festival that takes place in Cleethorpes on Saturday 6th July 2024. This event is brought to you in association with Docks Beers and Docks Academy – Grimsby’s craft beer brewery and live music venue.

No. There are no camping tickets, but you may find limited camping and touring pitches at Haven Cleethorpes Beach or Cleethorpes Showground Camping.

The Meridian Showground does not have its own car park, but there are public pay and display car parks within 10 minutes’ walking distance.

Our friends at Parkway Cinema in Cleethorpes have agreed to set aside spaces for 40 cars for DocksFest customers. These spaces will be allocated for a £5 charge on a first-come-first-served basis. This is a card only payment and Parkway Cinema staff will take payments with card readers. Please note the car park closes at 11pm so make sure you return to your car promptly as soon as the festival ends. Parkway Cinema is located on Kings Road, a short walk from Meridian Showground.

The minimum age is 14. Anyone aged 14-17 must be accompanied by an adult.

We are sorry but no you cannot bring babies to DocksFest. Our age policy is strictly 14+ and this means no children under 14 and this includes babies, infants and toddlers.

No, once you leave the festival you will not be re-admitted.

No. The event is cashless. Please make sure to bring a contactless (or card) payment method.

ID will be checked to confirm your age for entry and for drinking purposes. We accept:

  • Photo identification cards bearing the PASS hologram
  • Photographic driving licenses
  • Passports

No, sorry, you may not bring food or drink with you. Food and drinks are available to purchase in the festival arena from a variety of onsite bars and food vendors.  Vegan, Vegetarian and Gluten Free products will be available.

No. Festival goers will not be allowed to bring alcohol into the festival. We have well stocked bars selling a range of alcoholic drinks and soft drinks.

Water points are available at the festival bars for free drinking water. Cups will be available free at water points. Please note, refillable and empty water bottles will not be allowed in to the festival site. Bottled water will be available to purchase at £1.50 per bottle at the bars and some food stalls.

Alcohol will be served at the bars. But please note, the only alcohol allowed at the festival is the alcohol sold at the festival bars. We will enforce a Challenge 25 policy at the bars to ensure the sale of alcohol is strictly prohibited to under 18s, so please do not be offended if we ask for proof of age!

You may bring in small hand bags but please note they will be searched on entry.

  • No drugs
    We have a ZERO tolerance policy on drug consumption. We work with the local authorities to prevent illegal substances getting onto the festival site. Any festival-goer caught with any illegal substances will NOT be allowed into the festival and may be passed to the authorities. Any festival-goer caught with any illegal substances on site will be ejected from the festival and may be passed to the authorities.
  • No alcohol
  • No food or drink
  • No flares, smoke bombs or fireworks, or any other form of pyro
  • No knives, firearms or weapons
  • No aerosols or cans
  • No glass of any sort inc. perfumes/aftershaves
  • No flags, selfie sticks or poles of any sort
  • No umbrellas
  • No air horns, megaphones, or laser pens
  • No bikes, skateboards or scooters
  • No drones, paper lanterns or inflatables
  • No inflatable chairs
  • No DSLR or large recording equipment (unless you have a press pass). Phone cameras and small digital cameras are permitted.

All persons, ticket holders as well as guests, press and media must be searched on entry.

If you have not received email confirmation of your ticket purchase, please contact See Tickets.

You just need to show the e-ticket you were emailed by See Tickets. Or you can print out the tickets.  Either way we will scan them on arrival.

E-tickets are sent to the email address connected to the ticket purchase. Be sure to keep hold of the email but don’t worry if you accidentally delete it, contact See Tickets.

As well as standard tickets, a limited number of VIP Tickets will be available for sale online. These tickets are limited to 250 and should include the following exclusive benefits:

  • Queue jump on arrival
  • VIP area with exclusive bar
  • Performances from acoustic artists
  • Covered areas
  • Dedicated toilets.

Yes. Camping chairs and perching stools are allowed at DocksFest. However, there will be areas for their use and they will only be allowed in these zones. If asked by a member of security to move please follow their instructions. Chairs and stools will not under any circumstances be permitted in the busy area in front of the stage. All chairs and stools will be subject to a search at security points before entering DocksFest. Please note, inflatable chairs are not allowed.

DocksFest is predominantly a standing only open air event. There will, however, be some seating provided by the Festival organisers dotted around the site.

If you require access to the viewing platform (for wheelchair users and people with mobility issues) please contact info@docksfest.com and we will send you a form to complete.

Phone cameras and small digital cameras are permitted. Larger photographic equipment is not.

If you have bought tickets to Docksfest and can no longer attend the festival and wish to resell your tickets then head over to the See Tickets Fan-to-Fan Marketplace. This is the ONLY place that we endorse for ticket resales.

Accessible Guest Information

  • Please purchase a General Admission ticket for the Accessible Guest
  • Once you have purchased your ticket, please email info@docksfest.com with your ticket reference number to register as an Accessible Guest.
  • You will be sent an Access Request Form to complete, asking for more information about your circumstances.
  • Please use this form to request a complimentary PA/Companion ticket by naming your companion on the form.
  • Please add any additional information that will help us prepare for your needs.

Meridian Showground is located on Kings Road, Cleethorpes, North East Lincolnshire, DN35 0AR. The site is flat and is a combination of hard and soft ground. Weather conditions will affect the overall state of the ground. If you are a wheelchair user or have mobility issues, please be aware that the main terrain at the festival is grass, with some temporary trackway in certain areas.  In the event of mud, efforts will be made to keep the whole site as accessible as possible.

Our accessible viewing platform is now full with customers who have already made requests to be seated there. We regret that no more spaces are available.

There are accessible toilets on the festival site.

There is a Taxi drop off/pick up point right outside the showground.

Stewards are positioned throughout the festival site and will assist where they can.

Medical services will be on site in the first aid/welfare tent in the Festival Arena throughout the festival. We have an ambulance on site.
